The Spavinaw & Honey Creek Railroad is a freelanced short line serving communities along the two creeks and connecting with the KCS at Decatur. The S & HC RR is set in the early 1950s, but has a history that dates back to the early 20s when it was a flourishing railroad. Now, most freight and passenger service is handled by a Mac diesel rail bus. Dubbed The Trout Line, The S & HC RR survives by catering their schedules to fisherman traveling to the two railroad-owned fishing lodges.

The S & HC RR is located in Gravette, Arkansas and was built in the spring of 2007. Expansion the following spring increased it size to 8 x 22 feet with approximately 40 feet of track and one siding. At a previous location, the S & HC RR existed as a 4 x 16 foot N gauge layout.

Future plans for the layout include permanent underground wiring and more scratch built buildings.
